Everyone loves Milo!

Today I read through this children's picture book by Matt de la Peña and Christian Robinson.

As I read the book, I call out meaningful illustration details that underscore the book's power. In this book, we see Milo on a train with his older sister. Milo observes everyone on the train and draws pictures that depict how he imagines they live. We see him fill his sketchbook with portraits, scenes, and images he's crafted in his own imagination.

Authors and illustrators are overjoyed to bring happiness to the world! If you love the book, check it out at your public library or purchase your very own copy.
